The ProDen PlaqueOff® Powder for cats is a 100% natural pet food supplement containing the natural seaweed ingredient A.N ProDen® - shown in clinical trials to reduce plaque and tartar and to improve bad breath. Cats having problems with the thyroid gland must be careful with their intake of iodine. Since seaweed, including our unique ingredient, have a naturally high iodine content, we do not recommend that cats with thyroid problems use this product.

As with any additive, I was concerned that it would be off-putting to my cats. No worries - adding it to their meals had no impact. It's nice to know that something with such positive effects is so easy.

Powder for Cats
I adopted two cats in October 2024, one had very bad breath so I tried this in the hopes it would help. It did, his breath is not offensive anymore. I gave 4 stars because I haven't taken them to the vet yet to see how the plaque is on their teeth, but I am confident they will get a good bill of dental health. I recommend this product.

Powder for Cats
I just started my cat on this a few days ago, so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of it yet (although her breath is smelling slightly better already). However, she absolutely LOVES the taste of it and gets as excited for it as she does any other treat. I just sprinkle the scoop of it on her wet food, she meows to let me know how happy she is, and then she gobbles it up like it’s going to run away from her. If my baby is happy then I’m happy.

Powder for Cats
I bought the powder, the scoopables and the soft chews on my first purchase to see which product is any my cats would eat. 1 of my cats has a problem with tartar build up so will update my review if it actually helps after using it for a couple of months. If I mix the powder in can cat food both cats will eat the powder, neither cat would eat the scoopables and 1 cat loves the soft chew.

The plaque off powder seems to work great.
With regular treatment by sprinkling a little on the food, the tartar becomes a little porous.
Often it is possible to use the nail to peel off pieces of tartar that become porous by the powder.
However, need to give the powder regularly for a few months before the effect is noticeable.
Even the cat's breath is improved by the agent.. ?

Despite only being the tiniest amount sprinkled/ mixed with food, as instructed, my cat then refused to eat the food. He could definitely smell it on his food. So , from my point of view, sadly a waste of money .

Have been using Proden Placque off on my old cats 18 and 20 years old for six months, all tartar has disappeared and all coatings. Today I have nice healthy teeth and, as a bonus, have a better appetite and eat dry food like never before.
